I'm bored and a little tipsy so what the hell, here's an update!
Life's been really good lately. Dare I say as good as it's ever been! No real reason, still poor and busy but ultimately I am quite happy. For the past few weeks my day has consisted of working with all people who'se company I enjoy and work that isn't frustrating (anymore... and sometimes even borders on fun!), then coming home to Lydia (who is constantly looking out and going out of her way to do nice things) and watching episodes of Sherlock Holmes (The Jeremy Brett version). I like parenthesis.
I've also been working on some tunes lately. Link: Crown & Anchor
Hard to believe I'll be a married man in a month and a half! Lydia's new nametag at work says "Lydia MacLauchlan" it was both weird and comforting to see that. I've been making an effort to hang out with people a little more lately, and in so doing I've reconnected with an old friend who'se wife and Lydia get along very well. It's true that married people only really hang out with other married people.
Not sure I could be much happier right now. I mean a nice house or a Macbook pro couldn't hurt. But those things are transitive! All of the important stuff is in place and I am a happy man.
