Bolt Action - The Hungarian Army Expands!
I have been collecting Hungarian forces for Bolt Action for over three years now and seem to be constantly adding new units. It's been two years since I last wrote about how this army project was going so prepare for a big update! The collection now covers both early and late war units.

Bolt Action - Armies of the Community - Hungarians
By Anfernee and Bryan
Hi guys! Something a little different for today's article. Turns out, Anfernee and I are not the only ones who have taken up the challenge to convert and paint up a Royal Hungarian army in 28mm. Here we present a collection of Hungarian armies from across the global Bolt Action community. With no infantry models available, these are all a labour of love, so we thought it would be great to show them off.

Bolt Action - My LRDG project comes to a conclusion, well sort of!
By Patch
Earlier this year I was fortunate to receive some of the new Warlord Games Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) Chevrolet trucks and one of their Jeeps to review. I found them to be amazing and I was bitten by the LRDG bug. Something about their roguish appearance and mish-mash of vehicles made them truly appear like pirates of the desert and had me hooked. I reviewed those vehicles and provided a painting guide here.

Hi guys, this week I'm going to be looking at the Finnish army and some of the wonderful, tough, hopeless and cheesy options that are available. As anyone who listens to the Baconburgers podcast will know, recently I've bought and started to run a new army. I've run the Americans and then the British. After this I found myself wanting to move away from the major powers and explore the minor powers. My first stop was the Finns.

It is Australia Day week Down Under and that, for countless war-gamers, means one thing. The pilgrimage to Canberra and Cancon! While just about everyone else in the Bolt Action Alliance crew is off playing for fun and glory in this year's, 42-player event, I am holding down the fort back in Melbourne town. As this was the army that won last year's event, I thought it would be appropriate to pull it out for a few army showcase pictures.
The infantry in the army was painted by The LRDG's own phenomenally talented Warlord Tobu many moons ago. The models themselves are a combination of the Artisan Designs Indian range and Warlord Games miniatures (using their optional Sikh heads sprue). The Gurkha Squad is from the Assault Group's Britain in the East Range. Though my infantry come from a fairly diverse range of companies, the models really come together as one coherent force once painted and based. I painted the vehicle and artillery models for this army and as the pictures appear I will mention which model ranges they were pillaged from to find the right match for this project. Bolt Action - My Winter Russian Force Showcase
I have been slowly putting together a Russian forced themed around the Battle of Moscow, for some time now between other projects to play in Bolt Action. This kicked off last Christmas when Northstar Military Figures put on a cracker of a deal on the new Winter Russian range from Crusader Miniatures alongside a T-34/76 from Rubicon. Along the way I collected other figures from Black Tree Design, Warlord Games and vehicles from Trenchworx, Warlord Games and Company B.

Bolt Action - 1000 Point French List
By: Patch
Early War French are by far my favorite force to run in Bolt Action, there is a quality about them which makes them my ‘go to’ force above all others (and I have a few to choose from!). For our regular readers and listeners to the Ghost Army Podcast this is nothing new, they have heard me talk and write about them in no small detail over the last few years and may have even played against them at some point. In this latest chapter of my French, I will go over a list I have put together for an upcoming event and speak briefly about how I have rejuvenated and made them feel almost new again.

Bolt Action - Final Stand army review for G Patrol
Hey guys. Today we're going to take a quick look at the 800 point German list I am running at the G Patrol tournament this weekend. It's a full on 'last levy' style list, set in the death throes of the Third Reich.

It's was some 6 months ago that I posted the last update on my French colonial army project. Since then this fledgling force has grown into a 1250pt army, with many added units. The heart of the army is based around the infamous French Foreign Legion, but includes many other units from France's colonies to create a really fun and exotic force to chuck dice with. I'll take you on a quick tour and give a few insights into how it has been playing in recent games.

Bolt Action - Dutch reinforced platoon for the Pacific
Here we proudly present a guest post from a passionate Bolt Action player and forum member Chris, who fielded this Dutch army at the recent MOAB tournament in Sydney, Australia. This KNIL (Royal Netherlands East Indies army) platoon is not only quite possibly the only Dutch army being played in Bolt Action in Australia so far but is a truly unique hobby effort. No suprises that it won the coveted "Hano-swag" award at the tournament. An award that celebrates historical and 'cool' units over points efficient ones. Chris explains why it's always good to go with 'cool'...

Bolt Action - Building A Better DAK Army OR How Old Man Morin Built A New Army For MOAB
Well, it is that special “beginning of the tournament season” time of year again. Last year I attended my first BA tournament at MOAB and had a blast. I met BA.net regulars Patchimus Prime, Anfernee “The Rocket Man” and Betty’s daddy Bryan Cook and, for the first time, truly exposed myself to the larger Australian BA scene. I took my Warsaw Uprising Partisans… This year I will be taking the DAK.

Bolt Action - CBax's Historicon List
Historicon is just around the corner and it's time to get out the war dollies. Here is my 1000 point army for the two Bolt Action tournaments I plan on participating in. This force looks much larger than it actually is. This is because my army consists of a lot of Cavalry and troops that will be riding into combat on the back of vehicles. Having mounted and dismounted versions of most my units means my model count will dwarf other armies of similar size.

Bolt Action - Partisans Part 2: My List and Why
In part one of this duo of articles concerning the Partisan army list, I talked generally about the Partisan army list, why I chose the theme of my particular brand of Partisan force, and listed a few of the specific challenges that the army generally encounters in game. Today I am going to talk about the list that I have built, used and tweaked over time to create a historically accurate, fun and effective group of resistance fighters.
