In case you haven't checked recently, Duncan has updated our lister spreadsheets, available in the downloads section! (And don't forget to check the second part of the article for the big surprise!)
Yes sir! He's made some big updates, one of my favorites being the points scroll - which you can move around - that stays at the bottom of your screen at all times. No need to scroll to see what you're up to any longer.
Duncan's work has kept many of us listing during this first year of Bolt Actioneering, but at this point, I'd like to be the first to officially announce the completely unofficial Easy Army Bolt Action Platoon Selector. Please note that the only way, currently, to navigate to the page is by using http://BoltAction.EasyArmy.com
People have asked for it, and fan-favorite Gregg has provided again! If you're unfamiliar with his work (is that possible?) he's established EasyArmy.com as the source for list generating in Flames of War. Some tournament organizers even request that lists be submitted in EasyArmy format. This guy knows what he's doing!
Those familiar with his work will find the current format available to be very easy to use. It's important to note that this is still in development. You will probably find an error. If you do, just let Gregg know - gregg@easyarmy.com
The images used on the site will show off all the great products Warlord Games has to offer, and provide the lister with some eye candy along the way. If you're making a list and don't yet have a unit, links in the selector will conveniently bring you directly to Warlord Games' store to purchase the unit.
One thing that will be unfamiliar to those that have used the Flames of War side before is the option in Bolt Action to take multiple platoons. Gregg has thoughtfully added this option at the top of the list selection page, as pictured below.
Finally, you're able to access printer-friendly versions of your masterpiece after you're finished, condensing all of your hard work into a black and white simple list.
In case you hadn't noticed, BARbarians, I'm pretty excited about this! It is a work in progress, but I loved using EasyArmy for Flames of War and I am confident that Gregg will work tirelessly to make it all right. Check it out! I'm going to now!
