It's truly amazing, the amount of talent and Bolt Actioneering that is exhibited on a daily basis throughout our forum. Take, for example, RabidMonkey's thread on the incredible 3D printing work he's been doing in 28mm scale. It all started over a year ago, in January of 2012 with this render he posted on the forum:
One of the forum's most legendary threads began with one simple sentence:
"The super fancy high detail 3D printer arrived at my work the other day."
This enticing little sentence included the image you see above, as well as several other drawings of prospective 3D models. The thread started off slowly, but quickly gained traffic thanks to images of his prints.
Day one might have only received two responses. The next day received a few more.
Soon, RabidMonkey's little thread was attracting a typhoon of attention, and the renders - as well as the prints - became more sophisticated.
It quickly became a source of interest from all over the web.
All manner of 3D printing glory cropped up, and soon people were clamoring for more posts from RabidMonkey.
RabidMonkey's thread on 3D printing can be found here. It's currently garnered three hundred and twenty six replies, and as attracted nearly twelve thousand views.
