DEPLOYMENT AND TURN ONE
The board! Soviets are in the South, Finns in the North. Finns have 7 platoons so start with 105s in the North East, Finn infantry and KVs in the North. Finnish objectives are in the North East green-field, and the North behind the small tree line. Soviets begin with all 11 T-34s. Objectives are in the direct South, and in the South West.

105s dig in. The infantry attempts to dig, but fail in the weat.

The Company commander crosses the creek and meets up with the T-34s in the East.

TURN TWO
105s range in on a T-34 in the weat, knocking out the tank-rider!
"The Ghost" moves up to take a shot.
In the East, T-34s double time forward.
In the West, they crash through the trees.

TURN THREE
Two planes come swooping in in the East!
The KVs knock out the bailed tank.
Stukas knock out 2 T-34s.
In the West, T-34s emerge from the wood!
The Eastern T-34s move into the wood for cover.

FINNS: Infantry fails to dig again. Stukas take down 2 T-34s, And the KVs knock out a 3rd. SOVIETS: The Eastern T-34s move into the wood for cover. In the West, the T-34s emerge from the large wood. | |
TURN THREE
The T-34s in the West are hit by Artillery and KVs, losing one in the process.
SU-152s arrive from reserve, and double time forward to the bridge.
More refrigerator on tracks action.
Eastern T-34s emerge, guns blazing!
Western T-34s prepare to assault the Finnish observer.
The Western T-34s knock out the observer and consolidate into the wheat.
In the East, the assault is launched succesfully!
The Finns counter attack.
Despite being fearless and with the Company Commander, the Soviets break off. The Company Commander bogs in his escape, and fails to jump tanks. These T-34s now have no platoon leader, but they do contest the objective!

FINNS: Artillery and KV fire knocks out a T-34 SOVIETS: The Eastern T-34s assault the battery. They knock out one gun and a staff team, but lose the soviet CO. The Western T-34s assault the 105 observer. SU-152s arrive from reserve. | |
TURN FOUR
3 Stukas swoop in on the Western T-34s.
BT-42s arrive from reserve, moving forward to take flank shots on the leaderless Eastern T-34s.
Pak 40s also arrive from reserve.
Fire from the 105s bails an SU-152.
3 Stukas fail to do any damage to the T-34s, despite having all 4 under the template!
SU-85s arrive from reserve!
The Western T-34s continue forward, spreading out to avoid planes. The objective is in sight!
SU-85s knock out one BT-42, and bail another.

FINNS: BT-42s and Pak 40s arrive from reserve. Stukas fail spectacularly SOVIETS: SU-85s arrive from reserve and knock out a BT-42. SU-152s move forward avoiding the Pak 40s. The Western T-34s push for the objective. | |
TURN FIVE
Again, Stukas hound the soviets! This time catching the SU-85s in the open.
Finn infantry arrives from reserve, right near the BT-42s!
Grenadiers arrive from reserve in the West!
BT-42s fire a barrage on the SU-85s, bailing one.
The SU-85s are pummeled by the BT-42s.
105s continue to harass the SU-85s.
One of the captured KVs knocks out a T-34!
The Finns assault! 3 teams are knocked out in defensive fire!
Stukas follow up the BT-42 barrage, but do no additional damage, miraculously!
Finn infantry succesfully captured the remaining T-34s in the East.
The Grenadiers assault, but are pinned by defensive fire!
The SU-85s destroy the BT-42s.
The T-34s followup the unsuccessful German assault by counter-assaulting after withering MG fire!
The Grenadiers break off after heavy losses.
The T-34s consolidate into the wheat.

FINNS: Freshly arrived infantry on both flanks attempt to assault the T-34s. The Grenadiers in the West are driven off, but the infantry in the East succesfully destroy the T-34 company! SOVIETS: SU-85s destroy the BT-42s, and T-34s assault and severely cripple the Grenadiers in the West. | |
TURN SIX
A lone Stuka swoops in.
The pinned Grenadiers move deeper into Soviet territory, moving nearer the objective!
105s continue to rain down on the SU-85s.
the Lone Stuka knocks out an SU-85! The 2 left pass their morale check and keep fighting.
The SU-85s remount, and pull back in the face of Finn infantry.
The T-34s pursue the Grenadiers into the woods, and annihilate them.
Despite Volley Fire on a KVs side armor, the SU-152s fail to do any damage to The Ghost or the Darkness.

FINNS: Stukas knock out another SU-85. Finn infantry continues moving up in the East, pushing back the SU-85s. SOVIETS: T-34s pursue the Grenadiers in the woods, and wipe them out. SU-152s whiff spectacularly at side shots on the KVs, even with volley fire! | |
TURN SEVEN
Finn infantry in the center moves up out of their foxholes., along with the 2 KVs.
Meanwhile, the other Finn platoon double times through the woods to pursue the SU-85s!!
105s continue to range in on the SU-152s, but again fail to do damage. The lack of a staff team is hurting!
The Western T-34s, return to their side of the board, and prepare to shift East to defend the objectives!
SU-85s continue to skirt the infantry, but are now pushed up against the board edge!
The SU-152s' heavy breakthrough gun knocks out 2 finnish infantry stands.

TURN EIGHT
Finn infantry moves towards the SU-152s.
Likewise, they move into a wood in the East.
T-34s move forward to assist the SU-152s.
Again the heavy breakthrough gun knocks out 2 infantry stands.

TURN NINE
The Finn infantry moves forward ready to assault!
105s range on the T-34s, but do no damage.
The KVs move forward, firing on the T-34s.
The Finn infantry assaults, and the SU-152s pull back, lining up shots on the KVs!
In the East, the infantry assaults the SU-85s, bailing one!
Miraculously, the lone SU-85 pushes them back!
The SU-152s open up with volley fire, and knock out 1 KV, and bail the other!
The KVs then fail their morale check and quit the field! The infantry is peppered with MG fire from the T-34s, losing 2 more stands.
The monsters guard the bridge.

TURN TEN
Again, the 105s fail to do any damage.
Infantry moves to assault, but fail their motivation check and just sit there!
And again, the infantry fails their roll to assault tanks!
The return fire sees off the infantry.
