Star Wars X-Wing - Battle Report: WWPD for Vets

The Frozen Waste WWPD Norther Research Station played a game of X-Wing for WWPD for Vets.  250 points on each side.  This was our first time flying the new ships from the second wave.  We also sold re-rolls for a dollar to raise money for the event.

The two sides face off against each other

An A-Wing and TIE Interceptor race toward each other

Rebel and TIE formations closing in on each other

Laser fire erupts in space

TIE fighters out flank an A-wing

A TIE interceptor races by

The first catch of the day

A Y-Wing out maneuvers a TIE fighter

Money being spent on a  re-roll

Soontir Fel gets behind the Falcon

This is what I call an X-Wing Hot Mess

Re-rolls that paid off

A TIE Interceptor bites it

The Imperials focus their efforts on the Falcon

A TIE gets it
A Y-Wing tries to screen the Falcon

The Imperials score their first kill

But its the Rebels keep racking up the kills

The Falcon takes a dive

After all those TIE fighters bought it, space is not as crowded

The remaining ships mix it up

The Imperials cant seem to hold it together

Then the get another kill

Then another

After losing the Falcon the Y-Wing head toward the X-Wings, with TIEs hot on their tales

The Y-Wings would eventually get destroyed, but not before taking out two more TIEs.  That left two heavily damaged TIEs against an Wedge and an A-Wing. The TIEs headed back to base.

The game was a ton of fun and the new ships are a blast, plus we raise a bunch of money for WWPD for Vets.
