Bolt Action - Review: Black Tree Design Soviet Naval HMG

My ever expanding Soviet army includes two squads of Soviet naval troops from Warlord Games.  I love the look of the naval troops and enjoy fielding them in my army lists.  The problem I have found with owning naval troops is the limitation to Warlord's range.  The only heavy infantry weapon in the range is the anti-tank rifle.  However, Black Tree Design also has a small line of Soviet naval troops, which includes a MMG team.

I picked up one of these MMGs to added my naval force and am very happy with how it looks.  Unlike the other MMG teams from Black Tree Designs, the naval MMG comes with three crew instead of two.  The crew figures include a gunner, a loaders and an ammo bearer.

The figures are a little boxy, but over all I am pleased with their look.  They also match up enough with the Warlord figures in my collection to blend well.  When on the table it is not overtly noticeable that they two different manufactures.  I know for some of you that might not matter, but for others, like myself I get OCD about mixing manufactures and try to avoid if it possible.

Im definitely digging this MMG team from BTD and give it a 7 out of 10 limited naval figures lines.
