The Tiger Platoon and CiC deploy in woods, ready to support either objective. Soviet Guards Strelkovy and Guards Heavy Assault Gun Company: The Reds put their big Infantry and big Tank units on near one side to push the objective early. AAA trucks are positioned to fend off the pesky German air. |

V3 clearly had an impact with the 8" rule, pinned MGs ROF 2, etc. |

Soviet Guards Strelkovy and Guards Heavy Assault Gun Company: ISU-122s crush a Tiger Platoon and kill the Tiger CiC. |
So, at this point we all forget that the 2iC can take a Company Morale check in V3! So, the Germans move out and shoot the remaining AAA truck dead and we call the game. The next day, we remember that the lone 2iC set up WAY on the other side of the board could take that check. Oh well, we are learning! This game clearly demonstrates that the V3 changes make a 'UGE difference. The Germans got much better able to deal with Soviet Hordes -- Combat Attachments count for Platoon size, Gun teams can shoot over Infantry in Defensive Fire, Pinned MG teams have ROF 2. |
