I decided to start with my 76mm Sherman platoon as well as my Armored 81mm Mortar platoon. The Shermans can be found in the box set UBX05 M4A1 (76) Platoon. As usual, I found 5 awesome sculpts with plenty of stowage and extras to make the tanks stand out. I assembled all turrets with shut hatches except for the platoon leader sitting out of his hatch. Stowage and 50 cals were also glued to the turrets. Next I turned my attention to the hulls, adding stowage to each as well. I sanded all tank treads and left them off the hulls for easier painting. Unfortunately we are experiencing a huge heat wave at the moment which places black primer on hold. No fuzzy primer for this General.
